St Alma is a neighbourhood Mexican restaurant in Freshwater, built for locals who want great food without the fuss. Seasonal plates, agave forward drinks, and a calm venue designed for weeknights, long lunches, and easy dinners.
The idea
St Alma is the quieter sibling to Alma Avalon. Same DNA, expressed in a more relaxed neighbourhood setting.
We focus on seasonal ingredients, confident flavours, and menus that make sense whether you are dropping in for tacos or settling in for a long dinner with friends.

Drinks first, always
Our drinks list is built around agave spirits. Margaritas, tequila, mezcal, and cocktails designed to sit comfortably alongside the food.
The wine list is short, considered, and chosen to pair with the menu rather than compete with it.
